Jai is a Barrister & Solicitor of good standing with The Law Society of Ontario.

Jai Mangalwadi secured LL.B. Degree from the University of Allahabad, India and an equivalency certificate having studied at University of New Brunswick, Canada. He also completed Paralegal Communications Diploma in Canada. He has done Courses on Wills & Trust and Peace Studies from Chicago, U.S.A. Jai has been a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court of India for the last 25 years and has specialized in Constitutional, Criminal and Civil Law matters as an independent Advocate/Lawyer. He secured 95, 72 & 87 orders with own name as having pleaded cases in 2003, 2002 & 2001. In his legal practice, he has researched, organized, negotiated, resolved, and argued almost every type of legal matter and has represented cases of Judges and highest-ranking government officials as their Counsel at the Supreme Court of India.

Jai is pioneer of 'outsourcing' of legal work from U.S.A. and Gulf countries to India.

He had the honor to be appointed attorney for the United States Agency for International Development funding in India. He has almost 30 years of experience with expert management and contest of legal cases of varied nature from Trial to the Appellate stage before different Courts. He has also been a delegate at a large number of International and National level Conventions, Seminars, Discussions and Lectures especially on "Human Rights" and the developments in the field of law.
